Guest and customer wellbeing
We strongly believe that listening to our guests and responding to their needs is hugely important and providing information is key whether this is about allergen management, nutritional quality or how we source our ingredients.
We focus especially on families with young children to provide a kids menu that is fuss-free, nutritious and responsibly sourced. Working with our company nutritionist, we provide carefully controlled levels of calories, fat, sugar and salt to meet the nutritional needs of children and to include two of their five a day in all our main meals.
Brewer’s Fayre are proud to be Peas Please pledgers, committed to ensuring that our children’s meals always include at least two portions of vegetables.
We ensure our key ingredients and commodities are sourced responsibly

Growing our plant-based offering
Our Chefs are working hard to ensure that our guests always have a range of vegetarian and vegan choices on our breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
We know that plant-based food is a fast-growing segment. We added over a dozen new options this year, bringing our total number of vegetarian and vegan dishes to more than 80.
In January 2022, Brewers Fayre and Beefeater launched a Meat-Free campaign for Veganuary, signposting our extensive meat-free and plant-based offering across all our brands and platforms. For some brands, we saw a 10% increase in meat-free dishes sold in this period.
Looking after little ones
We are proud that Brewers Fayre and Beefeater have been externally recognised by the Soil Association in their Out to Lunch surveys over the last five years, coming in the top 10 restaurant chains to offer family-friendly, nutritious and sustainable children’s menus.
Building on this achievement, Brewers Fayre is a Peas Please Pledger that will continue to ensure our children’s meals include at least 2 portions of veg, through our new menu development. We will review this pledge with the Food Foundation each year so that we can keep track on our progress. In addition, our children’s menu has been developed with controlled levels of sugar, salt and calories, offers drinks with no added sugar and don’t contain artificial colours and flavours. We also taking responsible marketing to children seriously and the activity sheet that accompanies our children’s menu uses fruit and vegetable characters to promote healthier eating messages.
Clean Protect and a generous serving of safety
Having hotels open for the nation’s key workers gave us a head start in implementing new and comprehensive safety, health and hygiene protocols that give our teams and guests the reassurance that we can continue to deliver the very high-quality standards that they expect from Premier Inn and our restaurants.
We have branded this promise ‘CleanProtect’ in our Premier Inn hotels and ‘A generous serving of safety’ in our restaurants. Our promise seeks to give guests extra peace of mind so they can book, stay and dine with confidence. What’s more, we employ every one of our housekeeping and restaurants team directly, meaning we’re able to ensure they maintain the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene training.
