Shareholder benefits
Shareholders with a holding of 64 shares or more are eligible to receive a shareholder benefits card.
The Premier Inn and restaurant benefits are available through the shareholder card. Those shareholders who are already registered to receive offers should automatically receive the card with the Annual Report mailing. Please note that if your shareholding is held via a nominee, please contact your nominee directly to request the shareholder benefits card.
Free Breakfast for shareholders
Great news! Whitbread shareholders staying in a Premier Inn hotel in the UK (including hub by Premier Inn and ZIP by Premier Inn) – and their guests – can enjoy a free Premier Inn Breakfast for each morning of their stay (subject to availability).
You can claim a free breakfast for up to two adults per room, for up to two rooms – and you must be staying in one of them.
To Book
To claim your free breakfast, simply book any of our UK hotels for stays on or before 30th June 2024, and show your shareholder card at check-in. This offer can be used with any of our booking rates.
Don’t forget your shareholder card
You’ll need to show your Whitbread shareholder card (copies and photographs will not be accepted) and your booking confirmation email to our receptionist. Further proof of ID may be requested. Your free breakfast will be confirmed at check-in, so don’t worry about adding it during booking.
Offer terms & conditions
- This offer is only available to eligible Whitbread PLC shareholders who have received the shareholder offer card. It is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.
- The offer entitles up to two adults per room, for up to two rooms to a free breakfast for each night of stays booked at any participating Premier Inn in the UK or Ireland.
- This offer is not available at certain restaurants providing a Premier Inn, hub and ZIP breakfast where the restaurant is not owned by Whitbread (Whitbread owns restaurants under the following brands: Thyme, Beefeater, Table Table, Cookhouse & Pub, Brewers Fayre, Whitbread Inns and Bar + Block) and is subject to availability. If you are in doubt as to whether it’s a Whitbread restaurant or not, please ring the hotel.
- This offer is limited to a maximum of two rooms per shareholder and the shareholder must be staying in one of them.
- This offer is valid for stays up to and including 30th June 2024.
- This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount (e.g. Meal Deal, Emerald card, Whitbread Privilege card).
- Please show your Whitbread shareholder card and booking confirmation email when checking into Premier Inn to claim your free breakfast(s). Copies and photographs will not be accepted. Further proof of ID may be requested.
10% off food and soft drinks for up to 4 people at any UK Whitbread restaurant (excluding Christmas Day, New Years Eve, ZIP by Premier Inn and hub by Premier Inn). This offer can be used as many times as you like.
Terms and conditions:
- This offer entitles the holder to 10% off any food or soft drinks on the bill, maximum of 4 people dining (and the shareholder must be one of those dining) and may only be utilised once in a day.
- This offer is valid from 18th May 2023 to 30th June 2024.
- The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, is non-transferable, must not be reproduced, copied, varied or used in conjunction with any other offers or the Whitbread Privilege card but can be used in conjunction with saver menus and loyalty based-points vouchers only but not Loyalty Celebratory Offers.
- All rights remain with the promoter who reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time and without prior notice.
