Premier Inn employee takes center stage in new advert

A Gloucestershire local has been selected from hundreds of people to take part in a major new national advertising campaign.

Hotel worker Ella Cullen, from Cheltenham has been chosen as one of the faces of Premier Inn’s latest advert – joining a select handful of her other colleagues.

The once in a lifetime opportunity to be seen by millions of people on TV screens across the UK comes as Premier Inn introduces Rest Easy – a brand new campaign to reassure the nation that they can count on Premier Inn; from getting great value, flexible rates through to a great night’s sleep.

As part of the campaign, Premier Inn reached out to Its employee’s and invited them to audition to take part. Ella, 23, Cheltenham North West Premier Inn receptionist, jumped at the opportunity, along with hundreds of her colleagues nationwide.

Ella has worked for the hotel chain for four years and has progressed from working part-time as a student to now a full-time receptionist. Looking to broaden her opportunities she decided to send in a video application for the role and was thrilled when she got the part.

Ella said: “In the four years working at Cheltenham checking in people from across the world, our team has helped people from all walks of life to rest easy when they stay with us, as we work hard to make all parts of their stay enjoyable. It therefore made sense for me to apply to take part in the new advert and I was overwhelmed with happiness when I was told I got the role.

“I loved every minute of it, I felt like a superstar. Our hotel reopens from May to leisure travelers and we really can’t wait to start checking people back in.”

Tamara Strauss Global Customer Director for Premier Inn said: “We’re thrilled Ella has taken part in our Rest Easy campaign as our team members who work tirelessly to ensure all our guests have a wonderful stay, are absolutely central to the rest easy experience. Premier Inn is all about real people having real day-to-day experiences at our hotels and so it was completely natural to us to ensure our team members were cast.

“All employees who took part are absolutely instrumental in representing the experience our guests get when they come to a Premier Inn.”

Premier Inn hotels are set to reopen to leisure travelers from May, 17.

Premier Inn rooms are only available to book on Premierinn.com, with rates starting at £29 a night.
