With our ambitious growth plans, one of our key priorities is developing the talent already in our company. We do this with our management development programmes, Shooting Stars.
Our programmes have been endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality and give structured management development to talented individuals, helping them realise their full potential and ensuring we have great managers at every site.
We provide structured management and leadership development, plus line manager support, on-the-job experience, senior mentoring and project work. We currently run the following programmes:
Shooting Stars Gold: enables talented managers to attain their first general manager role
Shooting Stars Silver: enables site managers to attain a bigger management role (possibly deputy general manager, operations manager or food & beverage manager)
Shooting Stars Bronze: for team members and team leaders with the ambition and potential to take their first steps in management
Shooting Stars Graphite: for kitchen team leaders and head chefs with the ambition and potential to take their first steps in kitchen management
Shooting Stars Steel: for kitchen team members with the ambition and passion to work as head chef
We’re really proud of our successes to date. We fill 80% of our management roles from within the group. We’re looking forward to developing thousands more!
