The UK's most loved hotel brand opens new site in Frankfurt's European Quarter
Premier Inn, the UK's top-rated hotel chain, has today continued its international expansion by officially launching its first hotel in Germany.
Located in Frankfurt's European Quarter, the Premier Inn Frankfurt Messe hotel has 201 rooms and is primarily aimed at domestic and international business travellers who are visiting Germany's financial capital and its many convention and congress centres.
The site is also the perfect location for a city break, with the many sights of Frankfurt easily accessible from its central location. After a day of exploring, guests can enjoy a great night's sleep in one of the comfy king sized beds with the hotel offering double, twin and family rooms, as well as facilities for disabled guests. Located a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, the hotel is a short tram-ride away from Frankfurt’s main attractions; the world-renowned Museum Embankment, the historic Römer and Kaiserdom churches as well as the famous shopping district, Zeil.
All rooms are soundproofed and come complete with blackout curtains and Premier Inn’s famous luxury, king-size Hypnos beds to ensure a great night's sleep.
The hotel also offers a multi-functional lounge area with dedicated work and relaxation zones as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and bedrooms, a well-stocked bar and quality food and snacks. Premier Inn also caters for British and continental tastes with breakfast options that feature a variety of breads and mueslis as well as traditional hot dishes.
The UK’s favourite coffee shop brand Costa Coffee will also feature as part of the hotel’s offering with a store located within the hotel's lobby. In addition to providing customers with quality-handcrafted coffee, it will also offer cold drinks, snacks and freshly baked goods throughout the day.
As well as the Frankfurt opening, Premier Inn also intends to announce more sites in Germany with plans to open an additional six to eight hotels before 2020 in key locations including Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, and Dusseldorf.
At the launch, Mark Anderson, Managing Director of Property, Commercial and Germany for Premier Inn, said: "The demand for inner-city accommodation options in Frankfurt, especially among business travellers, is continuously increasing. With this new site opening we aim to expand the Premier Inn brand and its profile to help fill this demand."
Premier Inn Managing Director, Eric Hübbers, added: "Frankfurt's unique infrastructure offers something for domestic and international businesses as well as holidaymakers which is why we chose our new location to be in close proximity to the financial district, the main station and Frankfurt's many attractions."
