Charitable Giving

With over 50,000 team members working across our brands, Whitbread has a great opportunity to make lives better through fundraising for charitable causes.   Furthermore, its ability to engage with the 27 million customers who visit our establishments every month provides a fantastic vehicle through which to spread messages about the charities Whitbread is working with.

We are tremendously proud to support two chosen charities, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and our own charity, The Costa Foundation. In the past year, our teams have done a tremendous job and our customers and suppliers have been enormously generous, raising millions of pounds that will improve the lives of disadvantaged children, both in the UK and around the world.

£15 million raised for the Costa Foundation to fund 100 school projects

As well as supporting specific these charities, at Whitbread we know that many team members have their own charities that they are passionate about and we want to recognise and support them in their charitable giving and fundraising efforts.  To do that we have two matched giving schemes, Give & Match and Raise & Match.
