Recently, we were in the midst of revamping our internet facility at the hotel. During this time we were facing technical difficulties with the internet speed and connectivity, which was slow and intermittent.

One of our guests at the time, Mr. Sudeep Kumar Sahu, was working on a project based in the US. This required him to be on video calls with his clients past midnight. He came down to reception very upset that he was not able to connect to the internet.

The team member on reception realised this was urgent, so he personally went to a colleague’s house to get a 4G USB modem for our guest to use, so he could finish his important business call.

The guest was very impressed with our team member’s quick thinking and really appreciated the gesture.

It turned out that our guest was a senior colleague in a multinational company. His feedback contributed to us landing that account. Today the company is one of the two mainstays at our Bangalore Whitefield hotel.
